This is suppose to be fun too and too many shares take the fun out of it.

I learnt that lesson the hard way. I found that if I have too much at stake, I tend to either sell or cover too early! I was able to ride AMZN down from 133 to 72 because I shorted only a few hundred shares; a figure I felt comfortable with!!
Like Livermore said... "Sell down to the sleeping point!"

[Waiting patiently for AMZN at 103-109 to do more shorting :-)) ]

Glenn,

I think that you have improved your Amzn position by about 20% in the past week or so(from 137 to 65), that's no small miracle. :))

We can all examine our existing Amzn positions and try to find "competitive advantages". For a larger box, maybe writing calls/puts at high/low ranges for large premiums is a consideration.

I maybe all wrong, maybe others can comment.
