steve - at my day job, i'm supporting NT 4.0 and other environments. i can state unequivocally that NT is much more stable than '95...however, the non-plug n play is a pain.

also, 32 MB is not a realistic minimum for anyone trading; i'd say 64 should be the barebones minimum, and costs only a little more. i'd recommend 128 or 256 MB to maintain the different screens.

NT is a better memory manager than 95, but still not optimal; i'd suggest for best performance, pick a 'dead' spot during the day and reboot your system. you'll be glad around the 3 pm rush...
