> That's called market timing and if you are so sure of RMBS direction??????

You seem to have totally missed the point.. The market rules Rambus's future. If everything goes perfectly over the next 1-2 years Rambus could be a dream stock.. BUT...

The markets valuation of a stock is based on the following factors

70 % of the stock's price is based on the movement of the overall stock market.

20 % of the stock's price is based on the sector or industry the stock is in.

10 % of the stock's price is based on the actual quality of the stock itself.

So what does this mean?. In most cases the overall movement of the market and that of the sector/industry the stock is in, has more influence on the stock's price than anything else.

Once you truly understand this relationship your investing and trading will prosper.

regards
Don

Mr. MileHigh,

That is not called market timing, that is called benefiting from momentum. Please. How do you think the Street pays out all that money in bonuses and salary, by buying and holding?

I have only played RMBS twice, and feel is is great long term. But this is a prime example of how someone could make 3 or 4 times the return of the buy and hold investor. I bet you never thought you'd see 45 again, eh? That's when I got back in. And it we get 65 again this month based on the conferences that are scheduled, guess what? Ghandi again.

This will continue to swing back and forth for a while, until it gets its fundamental legs under it. Don Green has not been that wrong very often here, and I think he deserves a little more credit than just simple market timing.

Give it a rest.

Regards,

G
