William: I would suggest Reuters or Dow Jones news feeds if you want to scan news directly. Personally I have found it hard to follow intraday and therefore simply watch #daytraders which post news from various sources intraday. Also #daytraders follows up with pertinent fundamental facts about companies in the news which is very helpful.

For the past few months most of the internet stocks have provided ample trading opportunites so it hasn't been difficult to find stocks to trade.

I also use allstocks.com which i have set to update Briefing.com INPLAY every minute on my browser. I have a second browser open to scan yhoo,SI and other source intraday as well.
