Laura,
Jim has already conceded that he hates Dell. It's an emotional thing not at all constrained by logic.
Regards,
Stewart

RE:This sounds really masochistic

It used to be. But now that the top is in,
I am enjoying it <grin>

For some reason, I let this one become personal.
And I think letting a trade become personal is the greatest mistake one can make.

On the bright side, I finaly got long. From about 91 to 113 the day it spiked to 117.
That long trade may have broken the personal connection.
Since then, I have traded the stock much better. Have been short long short boxed short out long and now short again.

With the market having topped, DELL has no chance.

The buy and hold stratagy will not work any more, no matter how well you pick your stocks.

As for DELL's fundamentals,
The stock price will lead the fundamentals on the down side.

So for all the DELLheads out there, that means that you will be down 50% from your highs by the time you see any change in DELL's fundamentals.

Good Day
Jim
