That is certainly a very valid possibility, but we wouldn't know for sure until this fund releases their quarterly report. Furthermore, my knowledge of George Soros and/or his funds is that they tend to hold on to their trophies (SEPR) for much longer than (1) year.

In the meantime, I would prefer to think that it was general market weakness, coupled with some forced selling by other smaller funds that had incurred big losses in their other holdings, and then came heavy buyers who were smart enough to realize that SEPR at these prices was an absolute steal.
