Seems like the buying was not all at the end of the day today. Buying started right off the bat in the morning after the market maker decided to drop the stock at the opening. Who this buyer is and why they are buying should become more apparent in the next couple weeks.

Perhaps nearing the close there are a whole lot more sub-$2 shares people are willing to get rid of than if they bought all day.

Unfortunately the last time I saw this the person then ran the stock up and dumped it all. Might be something to watch out for.
