scba...It is unfortunate that most of the media is still
covering the Clinton/Lewinsky situation when there is presently so much acute international news which will affect the fundamentals
of the world economy.

Up at 5:00 this morning...I was able to catch the news conference
in Moscow. Clinton did a tremendous job on behalf of the US.
(Note: my first compliment to Clinton)
Focus still only on the Lewinsky question...and answer. Yeltsin even looked sober!

If economic reform is to happen in Russia it will be with a non-communist government. The communist would loose popularity.
It is to their interest to see this fail. Maybe their last selfish
chance, at the long term expense of the people, to gain some power.
Other European nations should step in and publicly support the US
viewpoint expressed by Clinton.

If the world is concerned what will happen to the nuclear weapons,
in Russia, during economic social unrest....UN buys them and disposes
them. Lets Russia mature through trial and error...minus concern.

I believe 70 % of Venezuela GDP is oil.
