If you read the history of world economy, you always see that there was always somewhere in the world which is in a recession. You probably still remember in early 90s, when Europe was still in a prolong recession, US and Asia started to recover. Now US and Europe are in an economic boom , while Asia is in a recession. This is called momentum equilibrium. The enthalpy of world economy tends to approach "0".
