Hi Michael....

My reading of the release is that the quarterly conference call is "kaput."

What takes its place is a taped delivery of quarterly highlights. There will be no question and answer capability following the taping, which will be available to all shareholders via an 800 number for several days after the earnings release.

My own guess is that some of the recent calls became a bit too unruly because of obvious grandstanding by accounts short the stock. However, even given that, it is my view that the company and its senior managers should be available to answer questions from significant holders during such calls.

I guess I just have a difference of opinion with the PR firm that handles Simula's business. And, it won't be the last time.

Have a good evening.

Noblesse,

That press release is a joke.
Management needs to recognize that they must run their business like a business. THEN THEY WON'T BE HECKLED ON CONFERENCE CALLS. MAKE YOUR NUMBERS, and everything else will work itself out. I can't believe I own stock in a company that does not feel I am entitled to participate in a conference call REAL TIME. WHAT A JOKE.

As for the internet comments, TRINSKE,TOWNSEND,NOLAN....WAKE UP GUYS THE INTERNET IS ONLY IN ITS INFANCY...IT IS *THE* ULTIMATE COMMUNICATION FORUM AND YOU CAN IN NO WAY TURN BACK.

Why in the world would these guys waste time trying to control something THEY CANT CONTROL?
May I kindly suggest management concentrate on business not what is being said on the internet? That might add a penny or two to the current quarter..

Trinske is a joke. If they pay him a nickel, IMO it is a nickel wasted.

Great post Jamie. I appreciate your insights. Glad to see you slap that guy in the head...
