Off topic: Crash Swissair flight 111--I have been watching CNN and their feed from the CBC. To tell you the truth, I am disgusted with the CBC. As Toronto CBC was going to the anchorman in Halifax (Kevin Kelley), he was not ready and was actually laughing at something. Also, one witness they kept showing, when asked how was the mood there, said "It's exciting to see all the media and people here. We don't get much happening here in Peggys Cove."(hello???) I also saw a fireman fooling around with a spotlight and shining it in different directions and laughing. Then, a piece of a commercial showed a body floating in the water, someone grabbing the body and yelling there are survivors. The CNN anchor had a shocked look on her face.

The CBC feed and coverage was terrible, and they kept saying they were having technical difficulties. Apparently, bad taste is a "technical difficulty". It must be hard to do live coverage of a news event, but when it is something so tragic, they have to be really careful.
