Freeus: Market makers are out to shake the trees, get people to make mistakes, collect much moolah on their trading points. IMO we should disregard all the noise and make an effort to remain focused and dedicated as Michael Dell very successfully been. My goals remain to accumulate as much Dell stock as I can, and do whatever is needed to meet as many thread members as possible at the next July shareholders meeting. Ten months from now we may be hearing things like the following 1. Our new 300,000 sq foot server plant was opened on schedule in Nov 1998 and has been running x shifts to meet the demand for these high ASP devices which now are all equipped with the Intel xxx mhz processors . Three new plants are being constructed on the same 570 acre site and are expected to be completed by xxx. 2. We report great progress on our goal of conducting 50% of our sales over the internet, which are now averaging xx mil$/day. 3. The new plant in Xiamen China was completed and in production in July 1997, while the second plant in China was completed in the fall of 1998 and is also in production. 4. Much work has been completed on the new plant in Brazil which will produce products for all of South America. 5. We have hired and trained an average of 300 employees per week for the past year and total employment now stands at 28,000. 6. The three new sales and administration building at Round Rock were completed on schedule in xxx 1998 7. The two plants in Ireland are once again being expanded to meet demand ( I have left out some of the good stuff here,but this should be close enough to give a picture) So to have a happy time at the meeting, my suggestion is a dedication to accumulating Dell at any price at any time, keeping enough spare cash or buying power to be able to buy some of it in case of a market downturn or at a lower price that may(or may not) happen after the split.
