LT you ole goat - you've yapped enough about gold and I can see the first light now. Not for all the reasons you cited but the play on a weakening US$. Outside of the US$ which has been the substitute of stability since the 70's, I don't think there is any other countries currencies that can take over this role presently. Outside of currency, the next best thing is gold. I will buy gold today and make it 1% of my total portfolio. Let's me see, ASA? Gut feeling is not good enough. You need to consult with your star. Does AFS has much international exposure?
