Gold puts relatively cheap right now. Gold calls still expensive. Dec99 240 puts at 2.30, Dec99 320 calls at 8.20, both strike prices being around $40 from the current spot price.
Might be cheap insurance for a year and 2 months for those who have a gold or gold stock portfolio.
If gold hits 200, $230 (plus commission) gets you $4000, plus any time value if gold hits 200 sooner.
What say you option pros (ole 49er)?
