Gary, PAIR could get as low as somewhere in the 5+ with poor liquidity in a low volume market situation as we often get in late August; it won't stay down long either way.

Having watched PAIR's splendid run since IPO to $40 after 2 or 4 splits, trading PAIR numerous times, I can't imagine to see PAIR below $10 ever. Is it a good time to get back in again? It seems phone line with xDSL will not be the major broadband communication channel for homes, cable will be (didn't T just buy TCOMA?) How does PAIR manage to grow in a stale market? Looks like PAIR has become a victim of an expensive technology experiment. Does the company have a vision? Where do they go from here? Can they use similar technology in cable and wireless broadband?

The fundamentals just doesn't deserve this kind of valuation. I don't understand the decline in the stock price either. This drop stinks to high hell. I can only attribute the price dips to this sector being out of favor for the MMs and continued market strength in the large caps and Blue Chips. Look at the drops across the board - The Competition, WSTL, Xylan, AFCI, Ciena, etc.

This sector will become the hot topic, hopefully after Labor Day. I'm still long on PAIR and holding.

You haven't mentioned how PAIR intends to compete in the highly competitive ADSL market, of cost reduce it's HDSL products to compete more favorably with ADTN, or what they are going to do to restore their former growth.

All I hear is how they are still doing ok. The street doesn't reward stagnating growth, declining profit margins and lack of new products going forward, with higher stock prices. You hear the big sucking sound that has been heard on this thread for nearly last 2 years.

PAIR has lost its competitive edge, and is now a shadow of its former self. PAIR's management has lost it--no new ideas. Wake me up when PAIR finally does something fresh and innovative, something to move it to the fore among its myriad competitors.
