Joe - I do not think politics plays much of a role in all this.
It is true though that the Denver SEC office has the GE owners in their sights.

I think the SEC thinks that they have valid complaint concerning the 1996 actions of some of GEs former officers and employees. One, Vernon, has settled with a slap on the hand, no admission of guilt and a $5,000. fine. The charges against Ron Knittle and Mary Erickson, and perhaps others, have not been settled but that should occur sometime soon.

I have been reading the SunRiver folks posts and have never found them to be derogatory regarding GE. In fact they are former employees and stockholders of GE. If GE does well, they do well.

A major in the Tipuani Valley is good for them as well since they have some adjacent property, as well as other properties.

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens with the SEC with regard to the old SEC action and whether the SEC continues to have problems with the May 22nd press release.

As usual, we wait.

Regards, Colleen in Orlando.

JS,,,,,,,Sun River isn't anyones " competitor ". SUNR is a " bucket project " which is different from " modern suction methods ". Then again if you knew the difference you would not be concerned with SUNR being a " Competitor ".

The Cangalli area is special due to the fine gold and the special conditions. There is more and very fascinating information, However due to the lack of perspicuity of certain government persons,,,,This is all you will get.

JS - just a follow-on to eric and colleen's posts...i'm sure the Sun River folks realize that they have quite alot to gain by the success of GE, which would bring great notariety to the Tipuani valley - be it in the river or in the Cangalli. besides, the two comapnies aren't competeing to mine the same property - if there is some negative senitiment, it would seem that the only competition would be who can have the bigger operation.
