My god. Poor you. Poor everyone in KL. If anyone wants to know about currency controls ask any Indian over 40 how much fun and games it is hiding in alleyways changing money to travel anywhere. Ten thousand people on Mohan's Coffe HOuse thread can tell you what a disaster it all is.

Between times I think that England had currecny controls between 1945 and 1975 thereabouts. Travel to England look at the clogged roads, look at the absolutely totally clogged up infrastructure in the UK... to this day and then go to Europe where they had freely convertible currencies and see their infrastructure. It is totally stark view Stitch.

Why write Krugman? When I was at Harvard we considered MIT absolutely downhill... all the way to the bottom of Mass avenue. After that is the Charles River.

Sorry to be importunate. Any thoughts on the survival of SIDBY?

My thoughts are with you, or the force be with you maybe is better,

Clark
