Mark,
I guess BS has some clout: both QNTM and SEG are up about 5% or so after the first hour on a down day. Wonder if they or one of their well heeled clients were the ones buying all those Feb calls yesterday?

Just an observation. HDD stocks don't seem to have the energy to sell off this morning. In fact, half the companies I follow are up. Is this the sign of a bottom?

Could be there's also not much to bring them up either? Quantum started out well. Are they the strong hand of the group? I've been tempted to buy some options, but keep reminding myself that there are so many better companies to buy. Maybe that's the story in general.

Regards,

Mark

NEW YORK, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Oppenheimer & Co. upgraded Quantum Corp.
(QNTM - news) to buy from hold, a market source said.

Something must be going on. Good news on DLT? JBL, who manufactures DLT drives for QNTM, also has been strong the last 2 days (after some extreme weakness).
