LT,
from briefing.com (summing it up nicely...)
______________
Our concerns over the few flaws in Tuesday's otherwise impressive performance proved warranted, as tech sector posted unremarkable follow-through... While up nearly 18 points on the day, Nasdaq finished well off its intra-day high... Breadth continued to exhibit a positive bias (4/3), but lacked the kind of bullishness which typically accompanies bottoms... Still too early to be sure, but based on late action Tuesday and yesterday's mediocre performance, looks like market will stage a near-term run at the recent lows... Penetration would do significant damage to market psychology, thereby positioning indices for another sizable drop... Just a reminder, avoid companies with low earnings visibility, extreme valuations, heavily reliance on overseas revenues and sizable debt burdens.
