Jim, with rampant instability in the economies of other countries, the US would be the last stronghold and governments would do what they can to prop up the last domino in the row. While most are predicting tomorrow to be a key down day, I find it difficult to believe that the specialists would close the US market in shambles over a long weekend, promogating further instablity in the world markets. My sense is that traders who do not want to hold positions over a long weekend have been liquidating since yesterday.

I assume you believe we have entered a bearish market that leads to the slow but lethal erosion of equity value.
