To MB (or others who want to share their opinion):
Am thinking of plunking down ~10K worth of puts, as ahedge against upcoming bad times. I have been in cash for over 9 months, have zero long positions. Seeking recommendations on indices and/or specific stocks as well as ideas on how to allocate the 10k; also, am thinking going out to Dec. but maybe further?
Also, do I move today incase we get the Friday then Monday big hit, or wait for the next rally?
This should engender a discussion useful to many lurkers. MB, I just want to do this once, otherwise I would just follow your 90/10,third at atime scenario.
