Sam, The book of Matthew chapter one gives the lineage from which Jesus descended to be born of a virgin contrary to your post. John chapter 1 gives His first origin and it goes a wee bit further than Matthew even. 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. You have been given the gospel Sam, it is not for me to convert you or anyone else on this thread to do so either. The choice is yours. The bible says that all manner of sin will be forgiven except the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. "Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:..." Mark 3:28-29 You are mocking God. You need Christ as saviour. According to the bible you will die in your sins. You don't have to, you can come to Christ right now. According to the bible you are without excuse. "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation.." Hebrews 2:3
