>> Excellent analysis, Charliss. I agree with you. Something does not appear to be right here.<< Andrew, I didn't mean to suggest that anything is wrong. Not wrong in the sense that we often fear it on SI: half truths, rumor without basis, manipulation and private agendas by those who strongly favor a stock, etc. Not at all. Of course, I also do not mean to suggest that this is what you are implying by saying "something does not appear right here." No matter how strong our convictions may be, things can change swiftly beyond our control. I have learned this time and again as a trader and investor who has had a lot of lessons in terms of having had her own ego properly replaced. Reality very often challenges even my strongest and most sincere convictions when it comes to many things in life, especially concerning the market and how decisions made in places far removed from me can effect me so directly and quickly. Also, regarding my remarks about "averaging down," I am sometimes reminded of some examples from my former work life where I sometimes worked with couples in troubled relationships. One of the two in the relationship would "buy more," or "average down," if you will, as a form of denial of fear or whatever when they should have been paying closer attention to what they already had and resolving that, and then being grateful for that. This of course is just a personal thing with me- I try to watch out for my own greed and lack of caution. I know one thing: In the market, intellect must take precedence over emotion. For most of us, if we approach the market in the same manner as we live our everyday lives we will probably lose lots of money. I still have all my HDIE shares, which is now my largest position. If I get hurt here, it will be serious for me. I am not buying more. Best, Charliss
