Warning is appropriate -- but what do you think about his specific position. Short or put some REITs maybe? (he wants to hedge real estate holdings -- perhaps real estate holding would deflate slower if we are headed into recession?)

I have two brotthers who have a lot of experience who I will ultimately rely on to a great degee, but I have acquired a great degree of respect for the composite knowledge of those who put on these threads so i solicit opinions to run by my brothers. My history has been one of buy and hold, but this market became too crazy for me some months ago.
