If he does help and bring these clowns to justice and gets our money back great I will apologize here and on RB. But remeber this unless you personaly know Macker you shouldnt be defending him. He stated he was going on some fishing trip and has not been heard from since unless he posts under a different name. I was just printing my thoughts down how funny it was that his last post was a day before MTEI closed down. If he wants to change my mind he has PM me before he still can!!!

Dear Sirs: I am one of several shareholders who was misled into buying stock in a company called Mountain Energy Inc. (MTEI). A short summary into what happened. Some time in the middle of May 1998 International Casino Cruises (ICVI) announced they were going to do a reverse merge with a company called Mountain Energy. They had stated in a press release that this company, Mountain Energy, own land in West Virginia that was worth in excess of 200 million dollars. They also stated in the press release that there was 70 million shares in the float bringing an estimated share value at 2.85 per share. Since share value at the time was about 20 cents a share that seemed like a good deal. I had called up the company at a phone number listed in the press release and asked why a reverse merger and I was told that was the fastest way a private company can go public without having to do all the fillings with the SEC. During the early month of June 1998 the stock hit a high of 1.65. Everything seemed to be going good. The company released press releases explaining new management taking over, stock symbol change etc. I had called the company numerous times and spoke to someone called Jack Uselton who claimed to be the CEO of the company. He assured me the company was legit and he was going to build a billion dollar company. He stated to me the company was way undervalued at its current price because of the 200 million in assets that the company own. He stated he didn't know why it was trading below the 2.85 stated in the press release. During the last week in July 1998 the stock is trading at about .20 cents a share after hitting its high of 1.65. I called again and spoke to Jack about what was happening and he told me not to worry everything was ok. He stated to me he had to file a lawsuit against the old management of ICVI because they issued 19 million shares without authorization of Mountain Energy. On July 31, 1998 the stock was halted from trading by the SEC. Once again I had placed a call to Jack Uselton and he told me everything is getting taken care of and that he was going to still make this a billion dollar company. He stated Mountain Energy just purchase more land and that they issued a press release stating the purchase. On or about August 15.1998 the company issued its final press release stating that basically the company own nothing but worthless land and that the whole managing team quit. Now that was really a very short story about what happen. There is alot more information missing. The purchase of more land, engineering company's estimating land values, etc. I just wanted to bring this matter to your attention. You can read our plight in more detail at. You have to understand that many people think they were deceived by Macker. People think he was the main pump and dumper behind this whole scam. Many think he sold at 1.00 +++++ and let everone one ride it out. I have several mssgs from people saying once he left the thread he was out and even told people what to say, (that you are taking a break from the thread. I for one have no opinion on Macker. i will stick with the group from Mtei that has stuck together through it all. Secondly, I believe Jhild, Janice ect were the ones which un covered the scam for the most part. Regards DG
