<<Ericsson is just so cute.>>

The tone certainly is unusual. I, at first, thought it might actually be a spoof!

Regards.

Of course Microsoft is not an arrogant and deceitful company so there is no parallel where a company can go its own way and force other companies out of business, borrow their technologies, and make billions with impurity. Sometimes right does not seem to make might, no? Look forward to ERICY comeuppance but is it possible that despite all the reasons why that should occur, it wont? Comments? Chaz

Gregg and all -

This post was on the WCII thread this afternoon and I think we need to deal with it and perhaps someone could speak to the Company for a response. I assume the poster is a regular CDMA customer with no particular axe to grind unless he somehow works for NOK, ERICY or Tero!!!

Steve:

From the interview <<But Winstar officials maintain that the point-to-multipoint system has 99.999% reliability, on par with that of fiber optic systems>>

Intuitively, that doesn't make sense. Excluding weather factors, high frequency transmissions are also affected by other RF interference as well as physical impediments (other building or structures). Here in Dallas, we have had a taste of the new high frequency transmission standards in cellular: CDMA (Sprint and Primeco). System is horrible! Even standing still! Biggest problems are structural impediments and oversubscription!....................................."

L

Gregg:

One thing I forgot to ask, when you consulted with your patent lawyers, did they only look at the US Patents? How about PCTs?

From the article, it may appear that Ericy wants to litigate....
