Hi Jerry,..Re:please tell me why Asia will reverse up...what would make it go that way??? i can't figure it??? is it just the dollar/yen????

Jerry, I know you didn't ask me but did you remember that Mr. Greenspan and Mr. Rubin are meeting with Mr. Miyazawa in San Francisco tomorrow? There should be some positive expectations associated with that meeting. Further, the DXY index is showing 98.30 now, down 1.10. A graph might show better why Japan and Hong Kong might be celebrating tonight as extreme pressure on HK $ peg will be relieved and some confidence in Yen may be starting.

You were exactly right when you were saying that the internet stocks were going to go to the moon. I made some good gains playing that call conservatively so I know that your views regarding SOX are also very important. But, even given that this is a cyclical industry, do you think that the industry in general is still in a slowdown or just that current global market conditions preclude any substantial gains?

As for 6500 on the Dow equivalent to SP8U or SPX, I'm trying to figure that out too and will use the attached graph to help.
