Sounds like a good plan; I'll probably do the same as any money I could have used for new purchases is tied up in Ciena right now. But no matter what you do, I wouldn't sell all of my Atmel. It still could be a big winner long term if it doesn't run into financial problems first and you will be kicking your behind if it takes off after you sell. Looking at the fundamentals you would have to say VLSI is the better buy. But as we all know you can't underestimate the importance of good management and it looks Atmel has the edge over VLSI at the moment.
