My last comment on the topic: I think it is impossible for Russia to revert back to the old style communist system. The people would revolt. I think everyone now can see what a total waste of resources it was to fund and build an industrial military based economy. The whole cold war was a fabrication created by people who cashed in (money and power) by creating fear. Ronald Reagan almost bankrupted the US economy in a battle that pushed Russia over the economic edge. Neither side will make that mistake again.
