Wake up people!!!!!! Or should I say get your heads out of the clouds. I find the recent posting by some to be truly beyond belief. Where is the news? Why is the stock dropping if good things are coming? Something doesn't seem right. Enough already!! Some of you seem to suggest that HDIE is the only stock you have that is coming down in the market. Need I remind you that the Russell 2000 Index is down 38% with the average tech stock in this group down over 50% while HDIE is down roughly 25% from its high? And, many of these tech stocks which are down over 50% are much more established companies than HDIE. People can't seem to understand why the rumored deal is taking so long. Rumors started some 4 months ago that HBOC was out at HDIE's offices. Anyone who thought a deal was coming right away was silly. Big deals take big time. It is just that simple. Nobody is happy that the news is not out yet but this is part of the freaking stock market. HDIE is not a CD or a Treasury Note. If people can't stand the heat they should get out of the kitchen and stick to CDs. Management has said repeatedly that they are going after big distributor relationships and this has already started to show up in earnings but nothing compared to what may be coming. If anyone has so much money invested in this stock or in any stock for that matter that they can't stay in it long enough to give themselves a chance to make money, they have lost touch with reality because almost nothing in the small cap or even midcap markets are giving instant gratification right now. There is a time to cut losses on a stock if the company in question is suspect. When the company is a quality company like HDIE which is ready to break out to a new level I believe averaging down is a good move. HDIE has actually fared pretty well in this dreadful market. Perhaps expectations have been set too high. This problem is not unique to HDIE. The same thing has transpired on the RNTK thread with target prices and "pick the TX day contest" which creates expectations and disappointments when nothing happens. This creates volitility in a stock which drives all of us crazy. If you believe in HDIE, their products, their management and where they are going, I suggest you stop following the day by day , hour by hour, minute by minute price movement and just sit back and watch the story unfold. If you do not believe in the aforementioned and cannot stomach the ups and downs, perhaps you should sell. HDIE will be just fine with or without SI shareholders. I could care less what happens to HDIE next week or the following week. I see tremendous growth for this company IMO and I intend to enjoy the fruits of my investment. Will the news come next week as rumored? Maybe, maybe not. It would be nice but the week after is fine with me or the week after. 6 months from now, the stock will be where it is going to be no matter when the news comes out.
