and the mgmt of MRV isn't noted either for Rocket Science or the delicate art of communicating and giving Wall Street guidance, but they are good at designing and making advanced technology products aimed at their particular niches. Someone pointed out that Ascend blundered badly and the only way they regained their credibility was to go outside for a new CFO - someone with very established credentials w/ the Street. Now the Board isn't going to dump who they have now but they'd be wise to get someone on board who can provide constant and realistic communication with the analysts and shareholders, to provide for reasonable shareholder value. I hope they hire another PR outfit because that kind of cost-cutting won't cut it. Dee Jay
