Zebra; What is the idea behind the fact that you judge, and condemn those who simply do not share your views ?? "they will go to HELL !! 3. You do not "judge and condemn" them because they do not agree with you. I totally agree with every word you said. Just because some misrepresent Gods word doesn't mean that good is not to be found within it. The following is verses in the Bible it clearly states that thou shalt not Judge. You hold more wisdom than many religious people I know. (you do get harsh at times :-) ) But at lest you are honest in your feelings. Mt:7:1: Judge not, that ye be not judged. Mt:7:2: For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Lk:6:37: Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Jn:5:22: For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Rom:14:10: But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Rom:14:13: Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. 1Cor:4:5: Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. Jms:5:9: Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. Now read the following verse; Jn:12:47: And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. How many times have you been told you are going to Hell if you do not bla bla bla.................... with your mouth or whatever. It clearly states he came to save the world not condemn it. But I do believe that one must confess sin at some point in his life. All anybody can do is to be an example the way they treat others. Not the attitude of I am bla bla bla so that makes me a better person than you. Religion is no representation of who God is. Since man is imperfect so will Religion be. Also one must not Judge who God is based on people who profess to be religious. God is perfect we are not, I believe one must find their own way to have a relationship with God, if one is sincere in achieving it the truth will be revealed. All one has to do is to read Emiles words who claims to be a Christian and it is obvious that he clearly is misrepresenting Gods words based on the above Scriptures. So does that make God bad.... I think not. As far as religon..... thats between me and God and who I am. Alan
