I hope we don't get a "tripple, double, stand on your head, buying opportunity at DJIA $5436".

What about Bob's natural bullish bias?
The traits that make for failure in investing are deeply rooted in human nature. Is Bob starting to hedge here? There is a strong psychological element to the switch from bull to bear. The ideal analyst maintains an interplay between skepticism and belief. We see today DEC Crude Oil, copper, gold trading off their lows from a few days ago with oil service issues bucking a bearish equity market today. A shifting away from stocks to other assets, expectations lowered, a fundamental change in technical and economic trends maybe, but it takes time. As an analyst however, possibly a defining moment.~Russ
