MMV,

You're suggesting that longs on this thread are not seasoned investors...perhaps with short positions on other stocks?

Given current revenue run rates, market growth, competition, and valuations (which of course are partially rooted in history and partially rooted in expectations) what are your criteria for being bearish on Cisco. Of course, I'm making an underlying assumption about the market as a whole which could be flawed. Nonetheless, Cisco will perform better than other stocks (lose less in a bear market, gain more in a bullish market) due to their ability to grow faster than the markets in which they serve. This expectation is built into Cisco valuation. If you feel that this paradigm will change then please share with us why you feel that way. I'd be interested in your views.

CSCO goes up and down , but the long trend is up. So there are long term longs but
short term shorts on this stock, but I never heard of short term longs and long term
shorts on this one.
