So the next in the food-chain will be Clinton appealing to the people, but he can be more effective because people never really have to buy his drip ;-)

Disgusted by this? Rubin's comments? Actually, I'm entertained by all this. I can hardly wait 'til tomorrow. I like seeing politicians and economic "experts" squirm and pitch their snake oils before the camera.

Hey man, the market will do what it will do with no regard to talk. And I'm sure you know this already. Besides, market behavior is far more eloquent than any speech.

Wait until mid October when the newspapers start reporting how all crashes occur in October. They'll compare the 1929 and 1987 and 1997 crash and mini crash, all occurring in October. They'll scare the readership, or any fool, and the small investor half to death.

Disgusted? No, just entertained.
