I was just looking at amgdata.com, and it sems to me that last week's figures have been revised to show a larger outflow of cash from mutual funds, though I did not write down what came out last Thursday night.

Have to wait a couple of hours to get initial estimates of this week's flow.

Once the public starts pulling out large amounts of cash the game is really over, espcecially if the funds have borrowed money to meet redemptions.

I am astonished and disappointed at the persistent failure of the Marketgauge indicators to confirm anything. On balance they don't look much different from what one saw on the way up last spring--and here we are, down 1,500 Dow points, more or less, from the July high.

Not that it affected my investments. But I did want the vanity of hollering FIRE in the theater.
