[ WSTL in Computer Shopper Magazine ]

Westell's snake-bit streak of bad luck continues, unfortunately.

My September '98 Computer Shopper mag arrived today. Inside, there was an article under "Trends and Technology" (pg 101), entitled "DSL Delivers - Compatibility Agreements Spur Nationwide Rollouts". Pictured on the page, and again on page 103, was a WESTELL SuperVision ADSL modem!

Sadly, there is no mention of Westell in the article.

They did mention that Bell Atlantic will be providing ADSL service in "select markets" in September, in three tiers: InfoSpeed (640K, $69.95/mo, Professional InfoSpeed (1.6M, $109.95/mo) and Power InfoSpeed (up to 7.1M, $189.95/mo).

I imagine the 7.1M speed implies DMT rather than CAP.
