Yes that is right Doughboy!!! That was her name, Jennifer! I forgot that. It was a long term affair and when Bush became president Barbara put her foot down and Jennifer had to come back to Dallas. Thats what the papers in Dallas said. There was even speculation that GWB would marry her after his term. The way it was presented wasnt any kind of a slam on Bush or Barbara btw, just something that happened.

Absolute nonsense! Jennifer Fitzgerald was an aide. Period. No affair. No sex. No cover-up. No scandal. It was denied and the accusers went away. No truth. Period.

But what we really had was a campaign smear tactic waged by Clinton in 92's last weeks to try to counter-balance the penis tracks Clinton left all over Arkansas.

But now in 1998, the whole world knows who the real dirt ball is.

>> Her name was Jennifer Fitzgerald and she was a White House aide who was conveniently taken on foreign trips and was always
strategically placed near GHWB. This was all well known to the media and the Dukakis campaign. There was a long internal discussion within NBC and the Dukakis campaign over whether this was beyond the pale to report. NBC decided at one point to go with
the story because it was public money going to support the VP's private pleasure. Then higher ups within NBC nixed it.

The Dukakis campaign, you posit them as a reputable authority? Ridiculous. As for NBC, they often have stories they don't run because they aren't true. No other news organization picked it up either.

You rely on the slightest hint of rumour about Bush yet you and others like you denied for so long the Monica story. How about all the other women that have come forward against Slick? Gennifer? Dolly Kyle Browning just filed suit against Slick. I guess testimony from participants doesn't meet your standards.

How about Roger Clinton saying that Slick was a big time cocaine abuser? I guess he should know since he was sent to prison when he was convicted of a felony for being a dealer.
