bipin, i understand the logic and it makes no sense ;-) lg and huyndai, the largest dram mnftr in the world will also be there. so will toshiba. so will hitachi. siemens is a big boy with fab sitting idle just waiting to start up. there are very few weak sisters in dram that are of any importance - mu being a big exception b/c they are way overexposed in the market from hell.

in addition, nearly every one of mu's competitors is diversified into many other PROFITABLE industries. mu has the midas touch in reverse. muei is losing money while all the other pc makers roll in the dough.

mu is extremely overexposed to dram. b/c of this, they WILL go under if dram doesn't change and change soon. remember, mu is only about a year out of the SINGLE LARGEST BOOM IN COMPUTERS, and lasting MANY YEARS, THAT IS LIKELY NEVER TO BE REPEATED - and they HAVE NO CASH.

if that is winning, insook, losing doesn't look too bad.
