>See what you started? I made a request, and did not demand anything, or arbitrate anything. Please read my initial post:exchange2000.com which said "just a request..." - arbitrators don't describe their words as "just a request". I certainly agree that there should not be arbitrators. I also agree there should not be quick judgements of people you do not know, such as: >Suggest you lighten up I purposefully included "just a request" in the original note to avoid this kind of argument, that's pretty "light". If this is truly an "open forum" (your words), then: 1) why can't I post my requests without getting slammed? 2) why is there a header which describes the scope of each thread? >Seems that not EVERYONE will feel safer and more comfortable with >David Harker acting as arbiter as to which posts on this thread >are appropriate, and which are not. Why the personal attacks? I didn't arbitrate anything, and certainly have nothing against anyone here. I have no interest in making anything "safer and more comfortable". We all seem to have different opinions as to "appropriateness" of postings, if you can express your opinions (you just did) then what's wrong with me expressing mine? I'd like to discuss ATHM stock here, that's all. >Eveyone should be welcome here. Including you. Well, this hasn't been very welcoming. I first posted here on March 13, and have posted many posts here since, and have enjoyed this thread greatly. I already feel quite 'welcome', though not because of anything in these most recent messages... Can we please cut this crap and get back to ATHM (my initial point)? I'm going to follow my own advice and not continue this debate, I'll stick to ATHM-related topics, as I have in several previous posts here.
