Actually, I would love to go to Vietnam... Fortunately it would be as a civilian in a peaceful environment (more than can be said Cambodia at this point.) And I'm happy that you are pulling for me. I hope you will share that support for Bgtit over on the AZNT thread, should he be scrutinized for posting positive things about that company without disclosing the consideration he admits he received from management. It is apparently very easy to violate SEC regulations, since they are usually all encompassing of anything involved in the securities industry. And I have respect for Psyops.. In fact I worked with psyops units in training environments as well as civil affairs personnel. In fact, I attended my language course with several psyop types who had been responsible for playing Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" at 300 decibels across the border... (that was tooo awesome!!) But in the event of war, I wouldn't have traded my MOS for any other. Unfortunately, I now no longer have the opportunity to participate since my departure from that field. But it sure was interesting at times. And the best thing is that my prior combat arms training as a 19D track commander and 11C, gave me a respect and awareness that anything I did ultimately was oriented at supporting the boys who would be swapping lead with the enemy. But I'm sorry Al-len.. I guess you just don't realize how silly you and Riley look when you close your postings with captions bragging about your previous military experience. And in Riley's case, he was an MPI, not CID like a close retired "WO2" friend of mine who served two tours in Saigon and received two purple hearts and a bronze star. But the thing he is still most proud of is SVCIO "get out of jail free card" to flash at the "white mice" when he was in a pinch or needed their cooperation. Do you have one of those?? (I had known him for an entire year before he opened up enough to show it to me.) Nope, Riley merely handled non-felony and misdemeanor investigations and probably stood his share of gate guard duty. Had he been CID, I would probably have had more tolerance for his braggaccio. Federally trained... HAHAHA!!!! Regards, Ron
