What? Are you going to have a cash burning? A very effective way of paying taxes. Mostly cash doesn't decrease because people seem to avoid putting [not golf] it in the washing machine. The Fed does burn the old ones but is quick to print plenty more new ones. Plus a few spares for their pals. Cash is like momentum - conservation of it - it moves around, swaps from one object to another, but is always there! But the Fed can add more. And does. Thanks for the url to NZ's decline. It is an example of the fact that if Ramsey decides to head for the hills with his cash, there are not actually any hills to go to. Can't hold dollars [rotten interest], can't buy shares [falling] can't buy Yen [the end of the world is starting there next week], can't buy Hang Seng stocks [only the State is buying], can't buy Korea [it has disappeared], NZ doesn't have an economy so can't buy that, can't do anything!
