I haven't checked it; but, I believe September is historically the worst month of the year. On average it declines more than October. That is with October having the ending sell-offs. It makes sense for the insider and warning selling to be in September.

Tommaso, with everyone and their brother aware of the October curse, wouldn't you think that if a major decline were to occur, that the selloff would start in September instead ??? Why wait ??? I know some persistent bulls that have laughed at every dip are now moving their funds to fixed assets. DJF
