Joseph - I hope you are not serious when you talk of giving away all the upside beyond $50 a share to someone else for a mere $2 a share.

This stock was over $48 a day and a half ago.

regarding 4 1/2% in 40 days for your covered call. That assumes the stock doesn't go down at all. Covered calls are not like bank accounts, unfortunately.
