TO ALL: I would like to add a few things to the discussion of John Nortons credentials. First of all, several weeks ago I received a phone call,as did SK, from a disgruntled ex-naxos employee. This man made several allegations regarding John Norton and his credentials. I was very upset by the mans allegations and discussed this SK. SK and I both agreed that before any allegations were posted we should check out what this man had to say. I told SK that I would check them out and report back to him.....which I did. I spent quite a bit of time calling some of Nortons ex-employers and easily found that Mr Nortons resume checked out and the allegations the man made were un-true. The man also made allegations that John Norton refused to use an analysis method known as neutron activation. The man said that the neutron activation would quickly, easily and absolutely tell if there is gold in franklin lake and how to get it out but that sid and norton did not want to do it because it was "too final of a test". I sent several e-mails to the heads of departments at Chemex, Mintek and to Brian Russell inquiring about neutron activation. They all told me the same thing. Neutron activation was absolutely not a reliable method for detecting small amounts precious metals. There are too many thing that interfere with the process. Mintek doesn't even use it at all. Brian Russell told me that it would not be an appropriate method for Naxos ore at all. After speaking to MDM and having several conversations and e-mails with John Norton the accusers allegations obviously were false. He was just an ex-employee that had sour grapes because Norton took his job.Sk even told me that he felt the guy just had sour grapes and his story did not check out. As usual, SK likes to ask questions that imply something bad but he does not have the answer to the question or is unwilling to give the complete truth. John Norton has worked as plant manager, asst metallurgical manager, milling superintendent, asst plant superintendent, and plant superintendent for some very large projects. He was the Metallurgical manager for Eersteling gold mine.He was the process engineering manager for MDM.He was the production superintendent for monarch resources. The exact responsibilities and the names of each individual project are too numerous for me too list here but I assure you it is quite a list and I have checked out as many as I could. He has a BS in metallurgical engineering and is working on a masters degree. If any of you still have doubts about Norton than check it for yourself. I am sick of you people using questions to insinuate wrong-doing. Do some real work! Take the time!check it out! Then when you have some real knowledge we can have a real discussion. Thank You Larry Macklin
