You accept the bible as a factual source, much like an encyclopedia. I do not. I accept it as a heavily-edited, politically charged collection of letters, many of which are partially or entirely fictional. Jerome's Latin Vulgate bible and the politically influenced King James version have quite a number of differences. If you remember enough high school Latin, it makes for an interesting read. Nihil curo de ista tua stulta superstitione. Die dulci fruere. (If anyone's really curious, ask Janice Shell to translate.)
