Watch list for tomorrow.. I think the oil service sector will resume if only for part of the day!.. there are cheap but not bargains, because we still don't know what they are worth..

Some of my favorite oils are CDG, CXIPY, SCSWF, FGII, BJS and EVI.
They are definitely 'capable' of giving you 10% a trade on a good day.

LU, EMC two of my favorite trading stocks could come back tomorrow as well as ELNK and MSPG another two favorites.

Retail sector will continue to be mixed tomorrow. I think COST, GPS, PFT are overextended so unless you are shorting them I would leave them. Some did not increase that much like LTD and could give more.

Banking.. I had a good trade today with CCI puts but I should have gotten a matching 'brokerage' short to go with it. I think the banking sector and brokerage sector have more downside.

I still like some of the lower priced stocks like CYMI, IDPH, COO, TCNOF, etc.

I like the gold issues: NGC, FCX, ABX, PDG.. and will be watching them tomorrow.. In a feature article dated August 17, 1998 Barrons under a heading "A Host of Stocks That May Have Been Overpunished are Ripe For Picking" have these stocks on their list.

They prefer Barrick Gold.. noting its ....reducing cost, improving productivity, and enjoying good cash flow, which give it the opportunity to buy up other, more efficient mines, and a string of gold hedges that 'can put of an appointment with death'.
