Over the past couple weeks, I've been very interested in figuring out if the interactive entertainment industry is under pressure due to sector concerns or if it's just falling along with the rest of the market. To that end, I have developed an Interactive Entertainment Index which I think will assist those who monitor this industry. Please feel free to find it at: home.earthlink.net

Thanks,

Vic

Fred, Good info you dug up out or the annual report. Not only does Intel state this in their annual report, but if you listen to Andy Bryant (the CFO)during the quarterly conference calls he states that Intel's goal is to continually work on increasing GROSS MARGIN DOLLARS.

He states this during every quarterly earnings conference call, as if to beat it into the analyst's heads. Still many don't listen (or don't understand)Intel's strategy. What's even more ridiculous, many analysts don't believe Intel's guidance. Intel's leadership definitely ranks near the top of the list in corporate America when it comes to ethics. What you see is what you get, no BS - just look at Barrett now and Grove before him.

Still you have analysts like Kurlak who don't believe Intel. Earlier in the year when Intel said that the second half of the year would be stronger than the first half, all Kurlak could say was that Intel's "hopes of better second half hang by a thin thread".

We will soon see Kurlak proven wrong. Let's hope the market doesn't get hit too much harder in the next few weeks. If the market can stabilize, we may see Intel pull the market out of its doldrums with a good earnings report.

Good luck to all Intel longs,

Doug
