I'm looking for a near term test of lows. Try drawing a downtrendline connecting daily highs of the indexes over the past few weeks. I'd expect a retest of this downtrendline on much lighter volume. Its going to take some time to put in a bottom. We'll see a lessening of the day to day volatility over time. Once the volatility gets low enough, it will be time for the market to make a break upwards to the upper end of the trading range in mid 8500s or drop down to the next lower trading range down.
