To make sure Ali loses more money when AMD loses more money. Even you should have been able to figure that out. But it is also true that AMD throws away A LOT MORE TRANSISTORS ON SILICON than Intel does - that's why AMD is LOSING MONEY 5 quarters in a row (I'm including the current one).
